Aisha Awad Elbalola Hasona

Psychologist and academic from Sudan, but based in UAE, with a background spanning clinical practice, university teaching, and community mental health work. Holds a PhD in Psychology from Khartoum University and a Master's in Counseling and Health Psychology from Ahfad University for Women. Clinical experience includes working in psychiatric hospitals, trauma centers, and refugee support settings, with training in approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma counseling, and group therapy. Alongside academic work, has contributed to training and capacity-building initiatives across Sudan. Registered with the Sudanese National Council for Medical and Health Professionals and works in both Arabic and English.
