About
A legal advisor with over ten years of experience working with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) on medicolegal issues, patients rights and protection. Expertise focuses on gender-based violence, access to sexual and reproductive rights, child protection, as well as medical ethics, and consent to healthcare. Has supported MSF teams through field missions in Africa, the Middle East, Central America, and Europe.
While continuing to work part-time with MSF, dedicates time to supporting women and children survivors of domestic violence, as a “volunteer listener” for a non profit association based in southwest France.
Trained in equine-assisted support from 2021 to 2023. Approach is based on the application of neuroscience and specifically the polyvagal theory. Equine-assisted support can help promote emotional regulation by encouraging body awareness, grounding, and the restoration of a sense of safety through non-verbal interaction with the horse.
Offers equine-assisted support to women and children survivors of domestic violence, who may suffer from complex trauma, and to children and adolescents with learning and motor disabilities. Part of the equine-assisted team within Co Create Humanity. Would like to offer services to fellow humanitarian workers, who may be exposed to chronic stress, compassion fatigue, or traumatic events.
