Invitation Emdr Training For Psychologists Working In Ukraine

I am sharing a message from the MHPSS TWG members in Ukraine :

Dear MHPSS TWG members,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in a training course in the EMDR method, organized by the MHPSS TWG in collaboration with the EMDR Ukraine and EMDR Europe.

EMDR is a specialized trauma therapy and a method of psychotherapy that integrates elements from various therapeutic approaches and combines them with eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to activate the brain's natural mechanisms for processing traumatic information.

Training includes:

3 days of lecturing and introduction to Psychotraumatology; 4 days of EMDR Level 1; Supervision Seminar; 2 days of lecturing and training on Complex PTSD; 4 days of EMDR Level 2*. Supervision Seminar on Working with Complex Disorders. Total: 13 training days + 2 days of Case Supervision and Consultation in small groups.

Training dates:

September 16-18;
October 20-23;
December 4-5.

• The 4-day EMDR Level 2 training will take place in early 2027. Training locations: Kyiv and Lviv.

Participation in the training is free of charge. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the organizers.

Participants will be selected according to the following criteria approved by EMDR Ukraine:

Completion of higher education in psychology or medicine. Completion of psychotherapeutic education in a recognized method. The completed psychotherapeutic education must be from an educational program at an organization that is a valid member of an association listed in our LIST of international professional communities and organizations, which adhere to appropriate educational and accreditation standards for specialists. At least 100 hours of personal experience in a recognized psychotherapeutic method, either in group or individual settings; A minimum of two years of professional experience as a psychotherapist. Confirmation that the training participant is nominated by the manager or head of the organization where they work. To apply, please complete the registration form by 31 May 2026 inclusive.

Please note that this training is available only to Ukrainian specialists. The number of places is limited, and submitting the registration form does not guarantee your participation in the training. You will receive an email from the MHPSS TWG with the selection results after EMDR Ukraine will review all registrations.
