Overview
Thematic analysis of aid workers’ stressors and coping strategies: work, psychological, lifestyle and social dimensions. Researchers asked to 218 participants open-ended question about : - 3 main stress factor during mission - 3 more efficients coping strategies - 3 worst coping strategies
Results are presented in tables very easy to read and to share to colleagues on the field. Main findings : main stress factors are related to work conditions (workload, working with others, etc.), best coping strategies are social support frome friends and family, and hobbies and sport... worst coping strategy : alcohol !
Interesting study to introduce stress at work and differents stress factors during humanitarian mission.
